Red Fern Creek Retreat — A Northwoods Third Space in the Heart of Grand Forks
A place for calm, connection, and renewal.
What is The Red Fern Creek Retreat?
Red Fern Creek Retreat was created to provide a Northwoods inspired third space for peace, sensory renewal, and meaningful connection.
We believe a calm, nature inspired environment supports emotional health, thoughtful conversations, and strength in community.
The Vision
Red Fern is designed with:
• A Forest Lounge with cozy seating to gather quietly
• Cabin fire nooks
• Cabanas for rest or gathering with others
• A winding creek for reflection and peace
• A beach area to let the heat sink in
• A warm, cozy group room
The Red Fern was intentionally structured to be accessible for all; for any budget there is a place for you here.
The Inspiration
The Red Fern Creek Retreat grew from deep love. My husband built me a Northwoods space of my own for quiet, peace, and creative endeavors. I realized others would appreciate the sense of renewal, feeling of peace, and time of quiet reflection while sitting by the fire.

Why It Matters
In a world of constant noise and digital overload, third spaces matter. Many people work remotely. Many feel isolated. Many crave meaningful connection without pressure. Red Fern Creek Retreat was created to provide:
- Warmth without noise
- Community without performance
- Benefits of a retreat without leaving town
It is designed to be steady, welcoming, and grounding.
